Instead Of Using A Common Antibacterial Solution Such As Biocides, Papel Is A Built-in Germ-repellent Anti-fouling Varnish For All Sort Of Papers. Targeting Food Packaging Industry And Focuses On Repelling Both Gram-positive And Gram-negative Bacteria, Including Escherichia Coli And Staphylococcus Aureus, Two Most Comment And Dangerous Causes Of Food Poisoning.

With Our Technology, Hydrophilic Germ-repellent Modifiers Are Incorporated Into The Varnish, Which Is Then Coated On Paper Packaging Materials To Yield A Germ-repellent Hydration Layer. This Hydration Layer Works To Repel And Prevent Microbial Species From Adsorbing. This Germ-repellent Surface Does Not Affect The Paper Printing Quality. The Germ-repellent Modifiers Also Ensure Strong Adhesion Between The Varnish And The Paper Surfaces For A Long Service Life. Q Is PAPEL™ safe?
A Yes, we develop PAPEL™ will all food and children safety in mind. PAPEL™ has passed multiple Food Contact safety test, including FDA (US FDA 21 CFR 176.170 & US FDA 21 CFR 175.300), EU (Council of Europe Resolution AP (2002) 1) and LFGB (with reference to EN 13130-1:2004) Also, Heavy Metal and Toy Safety Test (ASTM and EN71)

Q What is the Germ removal rate?
A The removal rate of oil base PAPEL™ is up to 99.9 percent on both Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The water base PAPEL™ has a removal rate up to 91% on E-coil and 99.99% on S. Aureus.

Q How was the germ repelling function measured?
A We asked SGS to take ISO 22196 as reference and ran the test on PAPEL™ coated paper. The test result on the newly developed ASTM WK66122 is on the way.

Q How long will PAPEL™ last?
A PAPEL™ performance lasts at least 12 months.

Q How I can apply PAPEL™?
A PAPEL™ is designed to be commercial use and comes in both Oil base and Water Base form. Meaning you can apply PAPEL™ though Printing press and offline Vanish machine. For more technical information please contact us.

Q Does it affect Printing Colour?
A No, PAPEL™ does not affect printing colour. It does add brightness, just like gloss vanish.

Q Does it affect texture?
A PAPEL™ does apply a smooth vanish layer on top of the paper.

Q Is it Scratch /Scuff Proof?
A We ran Printing Industrial standard Abrasion test (2LB of weight for 140 times), and PAPEL™ remain normal function.

Q Is it Plastic Free?
A Yes, it is plastic free.
